My friend and I made a last minute decision to visit this place two hours before our bus was scheduled to return us to Mexico City. The staff knew we were on a short schedule but managed to give us a tour and lunch the drive us back to the city so we would not miss our bus. So we appreciated their attention. The vanilla plantation is a small family owned producer of vanilla, which is important to the region. It’s a great place to learn about the production, use, and history of vanilla. The tour guide was happy to answer any questions while guiding you through the greenhouse and museum. The staff and the food was also very good and reasonable prices. I recommend taking a moment to visit this family home and vanilla producer.
